Project Description

The objective of this project is to facilitate greater visibility into the independent retail market. You will find the sales templates here as well as a button to add a document. This is where you will provide your communication and sales reporting quarterly.

This portal will be used to easily keep track of progress as we move forward with the introduction of the product and company to the network.

Thanks, Michelle!  The sell sheet looks good and either 5/12 or 5/19 works for the e-blast.  I was also wondering how long after the e-blast you recommend we reach out individually through the directory, if at all at this stage.  Thanks.

Thanks, sounds good!  Looking forward to the blast and seeing the reception!

    Hi Michele,
Thanks for the additional info!  We’ve recieved 4 replies from our follow up messages to the sell sheet submissions and have sent them all samples.  Just an FYI, they are all included in your list above: Country Counter, Green Bank, Star Store, Eden’s Market.
Two quck questions: for reporting, I believe you mentioned that monthly was ok to update you/upload the report template.  I’ll likely do it more often, but wanted to confirm this was the case.  Secondly, when following up with the above leads who did not submit their info on the sell sheet, and then the ones on the general directory, understood that we should not mention Mr. Checkout, but is it OK to reference the retail assocaition and us being featured?  Thanks!

Thanks for the additional leads!  The samples all arrived to the few that I mentioned above and we’re now in follow up discussions.  We were making adjustments to our sales deck this week (adding our new minority business certification, etc.) and will be making a big push on outreach next week after the holiday weekend.  I’ll check in the following week, as I suspect we will have a good amount of sample requests.
    Enjoy the long weekend!

    Hi Michele,
Hope you had a good week!  Just checking in quick to let you know that we’re still working on closing the first 4 stores that requested samples, and then we’ve sent out additional samples to 5 new stores this week.  We’ve also had a few health focused stores respond but pass because of ingredient standards/policies (i.e. no palm oil, etc.), which is in-line with our prior outreach.  I will plan on submitting our first report before the 4th of July weekend and let you know if there is anything else meaningful that comes up in the meantime.

Hi Michele,
I hope you had a good 4th weekend!  I wanted to let you know that I uploaded our first quarterly progress report to the dashboard. So far, we have reached out to 199 stores on your list (primarily focused on natural food, health, etc.) and have sent out 15 samples, but unfortunately have yet to receive an order.  Based on general feedback we’ve received over the past month, we have decided to make a handful of upgrades to the product, including getting non-gmo and kosher certified, creating a smaller bag to get the SRP below $10, and eliminating the palm and canola oil and adding organic seasonings.  We have started the process for all of these upgrades and are aiming to have them completed for our next manufacturing run in August/September.  We will continue our outreach and plan on having another update for you in September.  Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else from us.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Michele!  Unfortunately, our manufacturing run for the new/upgraded version of our product has been pushed back to October, so we’re holding off on any new outreach until we get closer to that.  So there hasn’t been any new activity since my last update but I’ll let you know when we pick things back up.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Hi Michele!  Apologies for the delay.  Unfortunately, we’re still waiting on our non-gmo project and kosher certifications before moving forward with our next manufacturing run. We’re hoping to have everything wrapped up mid-November and I will circle back with an update around then either way.  Thanks for checking in and we appreciate the patience while we work through this reformulation!
