Project Description

The objective of this project is to facilitate greater visibility into the independent retail market. You will find the sales templates here as well as a button to add a document. This is where you will provide your communication and sales reporting quarterly.

This portal will be used to easily keep track of progress as we move forward with the introduction of the product and company to the network.

      Hello Friends at Mr. Checkout,

      Our sincere apologies for the delay in reply, but we are doing our best to get up-to-speed on a number of different projects simultaneously, and our team is stretched thin at the moment.

      I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself — my name is Savannah Coen and I am working closely with Greg Bonfilio, to represent and support Innovia Probiotics with the retail pharmacies. I will be managing the outreach and communication for this project. I look forward to connecting in the near future!

      To update you on what has happened since the launch:

      On Monday June 14th, our team contacted via email blast, all of the recipients from the list of warm leads. As of Friday June 18th, we have not received any additional sample requests. Our next step is to check in with our fulfillment company, tomorrow, to see if they have received any additional requests. After the original launch a few weeks ago, we received 11 requests for samples, but only four followed up with us to provide shipping details and payment.

      Over the next few days, I will compile a spreadsheet with all of the leads and our subsequent follow up. You will receive our leads report by the end of this week at latest.

      After receiving no responses from our email blast to the list of warm leads, our team is feeling both frustrated and confused as to why more companies are not requesting samples. We could use some guidance with our outreach approach. We are struggling to understand how to best tailor our outreach to a group of relatively nameless pharmacies. Can you please offer some suggestions as to how we should approach such a large group of warm leads? If you have any ideas you might share, I would really appreciate it.

      I hope I was able to provide you with a better understanding of how it is going on our end. Slow at first, but we are trying to put some systems in place to move this project along in the most effective way.

      It is so nice to e-meet you. I look forward to working closely with you on this project. I am currently setting up the Sales Report spreadsheet and working on how best to approach our general strategy. Thanks for your information on the outreach. I will begin making telephone calls to the pharmacies on the warm leads list, and will report back to you by the end of the week with my notes.

      Happy Friday! I wanted to update you on on the progress we’ve made this week. Greg and I are working closely to get this project moving along in the most effective way. Since my last update, we met with our marketing team and began working on creating a marketing cadence, which will include a timeline of our marketing plan. We will begin contacting the warm leads list early next week. The plan is to being the cold calling, as well as send out another email blast to the list of warm leads.       Good afternoon Michelle,

      To update you on our progress this week, we have been focusing on the list of 10 leads who originally requested samples. We reached out to them this week and plan to call next week if we do not receive a timely response. Since last week, we have begun uploading our leads into Hubspot.

      Happy Friday,

      Here with my weekly report: We dove into the cold calling process. It started out better than anticipated. I have a few meetings scheduled next week to talk about getting potential customers set up with our product. I currently have our fulfillment manger working on sending out some sample packs that were ordered this week. Things are starting to move along. We plan to keep cold calling throughout the next few weeks.

      Hello!

      I wanted to send over an update. We sent samples out last week and have been trying to get in contact with those accounts who received the samples. So far the feedback from those who we have been able to get in touch with has been positive. A few accounts are looking to set up another meeting to discuss the purchasing of Innovia. There has been promising steps made towards making a sale!

      I will report back next week, hopefully with more good news. Let me know if there is anything more you need from me.

    We’ve hit a road bump. I have connected with a few pharmacies who have mentioned that they like our product, but only make purchases though Amerisource. Do you know anything about his company? Can you offer any insight on how to tackle this problem?

      In the meantime, another issue we would like to get input on is our pricing. We are offering $2.99 wholesale and suggesting $3.99 retail. What do you think of this?

Hello Michelle,

I hope all is well on your end. I have some updates to report to you:

During the month of September I will be phasing out of my position. In summary, after a few months of cold calling we are seeing no success. My team ultimately agreeing it is best to move on.

Where things stand today: I have spent the past few months diligently cold calling the list of “warm leads”. I sent out around 50 samples to different sized pharmacies and stores. None of these stores wanted to order from us after trying the samples. Some difficulties we faced were pricing(this being the most prominent concern), many pharmacies only ordered through corporations like AmerisourceBergen, and no one having any background knowledge on our product or how to use it. After following the guidelines laid out by the team at Mr.Checkout we had no success selling our product.
