Project Description

The objective of this project is to facilitate greater visibility into the independent retail market. You will find the sales templates here as well as a button to add a document. This is where you will provide your communication and sales reporting quarterly.

This portal will be used to easily keep track of progress as we move forward with the introduction of the product and company to the network.

    Can you email me a screenshot or the email of what you sent them so I have context? I just want to make sure I can reference what they saw. Was there anything else besides the sales sheet?

      I have reached out by email to everyone who has given an email twice in the last few days. I did call the one lead with a phone and emailed as well. Would love more leads to call!

      Attached, what would you suggest for next steps? I only have 1 lead from digital sheets and the number appears to be bad or does not have a voicemail. I have emailed everyone else a few times.

      Dear account manager… the ONLY contact info I have for all of them, minus 1, is email. I have ZERO phone numbers. I would agree calls would work great, can you tell me how I would find phone numbers for them?

I added an updated list of calls. Overall, most people had no idea what I am talking about when I speak to the NRA or my supplements specifically. Had some ok conversations, but these leads are pretty much cold.

      Uploaded the latest contact list. Have 1 person that wants samples, however they will not be ready to buy until October. Would love more people to call or suggestions on next steps.

      Spoke to Nicole at Peggys Natural Foods, she will be receiving samples today or tomorrow. They are not buying anything until Q4 in October, but she asked me to follow up in September to get feedback on samples and see if she wants to order.

      Emailed and called everyone else, no responses.

      Hey team, I uploaded the latest excel file for contacting people. I also sent an email about this, but will include it here:

      I have 24 leads, most of which I have not spoken to. Of the ones I have spoken to, I can say on my side, none of them have known who I am and only 1 has requested a sample and they are going to order, but only 1 bottle at a time. Is this normal? I am actively calling and emailing, but even when I get in touch with someone.

      At what point do we move forward with distributors? I am not sure if you are seeing what you need to in order to go for bigger volumes, but I am not. How can we fix this? How can I get more people to buy so we can do more? Should I just send out samples?

I have spoken to Marla a couple of times, she had concerns on some super nitty gritty information which I got for her.  She was excited about it and not sure she will move forward.

Just spoke to Marla yesterday and she said that she is not getting any supplements unless it is through a medically approved source, so I marked her off as a no.

Hey team, I have called through all the leads, actually spoke to a few people! Had a lot that had no idea who I was or who Nutrition retail association was or who were not interested.  Thankfully, had a few that want samples and to reach back out in a month.
Can you find me more leads? I would like to actually sell something in 2022, its been more than 6 months, lets go.

A few notes:
1-Uploaded sales report, which should be named call report because i have had ZERO sales. You asked for a quarterly update, I have done more than that.
 
Secondly, I have notes in everyone I have so far.  The biggest thing is that people will not even answer the phone and when they do, they have no idea who I am, or who Nutrition Retail Association is, so they are not really leads, they are contacts for vitamin stores that have no idea who I am.
Fortunately, there are a few that I have had contact with, sent samples to, and followed up with.  No orders as of yet, but I am hopeful.
 
The downside is that most of the people I spoke to only want to do 1-4 bottles a month.  That is all fine and good and a good starting point, however I wanted to work with you all to do MASS wholesale orders, not onsey twosey orders. I just hope that things this year go better because I was really excited about working with you all and the possibility, however I am not happy about the results so far and I am doing my due diligence with following up.

      15-25 Retailers at this rate will take another 2 years to get to….? Those should have been included, I am calling them all again tomorrow and will update with all those included as well.

2 things
1-Can you make sure an email is sent when leads are added to this thread? It is becoming REALLY long and I want to make sure I do not miss anything.  With that being said, I did contact those leads, I just had them on another sheet I am using, but I combined all that I can find and updated it and uploaded today, let me know if any are missing.
2-Again, Getting discouraged with this process.  Your notes of people wanting samples does not even come close to what I am hearing when I call people.  There is a huge disparity between what your notes and what I experience.  So thus far, I have sent samples out and still no orders because of staff changes, they have budget changes, they decided not to, or something has happened.  I Have had positive results from those who have gotten the supplements, but they are not ordering due to other reasons, NOT because the product is not quality.
If the goal is 15-25 retailers, I would suggest we aim for that BEFORE the end of this year because this is ridiculous.  I get that it takes time, but I am really really frustrated.

      I have followed up with all leads that you have sent me until they tell me to stop or not interested.
      As far as Harry is concerned, I did speak with him and he was the one who said he had no idea who I was or Nutrition Retail Association was and was not interested in bringing in any new products.

    Thank you for that.  ONce again please note a few things:
    1-I spent my life in sales, I train sales people now full time.  So I know how to have sales conversations.
    2-I do not consider a lead “dead” unless they tell me they are not interested for whatever reason, so until they say that, I follow up with them and have done so since the first leads you sent me.
    3-Again I would ask for an email update or notification as well as update here because this thread gets long and I do not want things missed.
    4-Any leads that have received samples, I have followed up on agreed timelines with the customers for them to make a decision.
    Look forward to the new batch of leads.

Hey team, I uploaded notes from the distributor list.  A few items:

I need contact names for each company, some of these were just 800 or 888 numbers that had no contact name so i went to a general mailbox…. with those contacts, who did YOU talk to?
Who are you saying you all are when you reach out? I would like to know so I can reference that when I leave messages, emails, or speak to someone.
