Alex being the total jew.
You know how they say "customers are always right", but us retail workers know that customers are almost always wrong.
"do you have some of that stuff I tried on earlier?"….like, who are you?
it's so funny when customers genuinely think we care if they decide to "take their business elsewhere" like they think we're really hurt when they say that ?? if anything we're happy they're finally leaving the store
Customer: I want to return this Me: ok can I see your receipt?Customer: I don't have it Me:………………..ok……Did you remember when you bought it?Customer: like 1 or 2 years agoMe: you should leave =_=
I hate people so much now thanks to working 10yrs in retail!!! All these things are true ?
1:00 please tell me that I'm not the only one that thought of a period on striped panties
Honestly didn't realize how true ALL of these were until I started working retail. ?
My favourite store ever is Zumiez. All the workers are consistently kind and they actually offer to check the back if they see you can't find the correct size. They never over talk and hold me up, but they do talk enough to the point where I don't feel uncomfortable to ask to try things on.
On top of a super tall ladder, checking out with a line of customers, super busy, etc.
"Do you have this in a small?"
"Uh, I don't think so."
"Can you check?"
"I don't think we have it, ma'am."
"Are you sure? Can you check the back?"
OH YA FUCKIN SURE JUST LET ME DROP EVERYTHING AND GO SPEND A HALF HOUR LOOKING THROUGH THE TOWERS OF SEALED CARDBOARD BOXES IN THE BACK ROOM FOR A FUCKIN SMALL
Customer: The item didn't scan, it must be free!
Me: Rings up item twice
One of the worst feelings is trying to sort through the mountain of go-backs from the fitting room and someone walking out of one throws, literally, 20
items on top of the counter and walks away. If you do that, WE HATE YOU.
omg the end! yes! just because you make it 1 minute before close does not mean you made it!
